The Greater Cincinnati Independents represent a community of locally owned restaurants of all kinds. From very casual eateries to fine dining, and everywhere in between, our mission is to support and promote the independents by providing collaborative services and benefits for our members so they can focus on providing unique dining experiences for their patrons.

With today's economy and the ever-growing rise of the chain restaurants, it is necessary for local restaurateurs to band together and raise awareness about original cuisine and local flavor. Greater Cincinnati is literally filled with amazing local dining opportunities, but for these businesses to succeed diners must consciously seek them out.

The next time someone asks you "where should we eat?", consider this: Independent restaurateurs are a vital part of every community. They live and work in your neighborhood and strive to make a difference through contributions of time, jobs and financial support. They expose our families to unique cultures through the art of food and help to make Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky a great place to live and work. You don't have to look far or drive out of your way to find them, you just have to think about them and answer "someplace local!"
